North West London rapper Nines premiered his short film 'Crop Circle' at Soho's Prince Charles Cinema.
Filmed in north west london, 'Crop Circle' precedes Nines' upcoming album of the same name, out this Friday (4/20) via XL Recorings. which you can pre-order here.
Crop Circle (the title of the short film and the album) was written and directed by Nines, previewing some of his tracks from the new album, and expanding his creative vision into the visual.
The north west rapper guides his viewers through life on his Church Road Estate where he grew up. The short film has a compelling sense of reality complemented with comedy and drama.
With these visuals he's definitely cemented his status as one of the main pillars in UK rap right now, he's managed to get quite a few UK stars to feature a cameo in the film. Who can you spot? - J Hus, Grindah and Beats from Kurupt FM, Ghetts, Skrapz, Mist and Mostack. Nine's album due to be released this 420 has be said to have a full list of feature; Ray BLK, DAve, Skrapz and Tiggs da Author; The level of collaboration here is very exciting, especially for 2018 so far, but throughoutit all Nines remains the star.
