Was there any doubt after that display?! Kevin De Bruyne played his best game of the season so far for Manchester City as they demolished Stoke City 7-2. Somehow he only had 2 assists and didn't get on the score sheet for the sky blues but was involved in every attacking move.
Both assists were top draw pin point passes to Jesus and Sane which were both dispatched with 1 touch finishes. Since September 2015 De Bruyne has 32 assists in the Premier League which is more than any other player.
Pep has improved De Bruyne making him a more all rounded midfielder. He is comfortable with the ball in front of the back 4, in the centre of the park and of course in the final third.
This was his 100th appearance for City and what a way to mark it. If this form continues City will definitely be in with a chance of winning the title.
