Nike Air Jordan 1's
'Royal Blue & Breds'
The
Air Jordan 1's were officially designed by Nike in 1984 for Michael Jordan, who
is known as one of the greatest basketball players in history. These sneakers
were tailored to be used on the basketball court, from the ankle support it
provides down to the comfort of the leather.
They
were later mass produced in 1985 for public release, with the two main colours
'Breds & Royal Blues'. The popularity of the sneaker landed Jordan a $2.5
million deal which has led this iconic collaboration to create history in the
sneaker community, setting a landmark and paving the way for other future
collaborations.
