To be completely honest it was very difficult to pick a player this week. Not many stood out as there were better all round team performances which of course caused some shock results. City and Liverpool dropped points, United and Chelsea also didn't get the points they needed to be in the top four.
I chose King because of his all round contribution to the game and his moments of magic to see off a helpless Chelsea.
Josh King scored two and assisted one in a 4-0 triumph over Chelsea. All the goals came in the second half and Chelsea looked helpless. Brooks also had a cracking game and is looking like a contender for young player of the season. King broke the deadlock on the 47th min with an emphatic finish, Kepa was rooted to the spot.
He assisted Brooks for the second and sealed his brace on the 74th minute making it 3-0. He had big boots to fill as Wilson was not playing today and he filled them in the right way helping Bournemouth with gain a valuable three points.
King is just one goal away (38) from being the third highest Norwegian goal scorer in the Premier League and is two goals behind being level with Steffen Iversen (40) with Solskjaer leading the pack (91). But he has been involved in more goals for the Cherries (48) than any other Bournemouth player in the competition.
This is another player Eddie Howe has got playing and playing well. Good result for Bournemouth and well played King.
