Captain fantastic! West Ham spent a lot of money in the summer but their best players so far this season probably haven't been any of their summer signings. Noble shone the brightest in their victory over Manchester United this matchweek, securing the Hammers back to back wins in the Premier League.

Joe Hart, Harry Kane, Sigurdsson & Lacazette all came close to this week, but Noble was exceptionally good for West Ham. He was in control of the midfield shutting United down and playing key passes to lead to goal scoring opportunities.

He played in Zabaleta who squared it to Anderson to give West Ham the lead after five minutes. He bossed the midfield didn't let United play enough to get back into the game and then provided the assist for Arnautovic in the 74th minute to take all three points (match highlights below)

Other than two loan spells in 2006, Noble has spent his career at West Ham. He is a pretty consistent midfielder, you know exactly what he will bring to the table week in week out and he works tirelessly for the club. I'm surprised he has not ever had an England call up, but he was up against Gerrard and Lampard

Pellegrini Looks to have found the formula to get West Ham playing. I think the clubs expectations should be to get into a Europa League spot after the money spent at the club over the summer. Noble's leadership will be key to any success the Hammers get this season.
