Dele Alli

Age: 21
Height: 1.88m
Nationality: English
Playing position: Midfielder

Not long left until Man City win the Premier League title, but the race for the top four looks completely wrapped up too with Tottenham beating Chelsea at the Bridge.

Tottenham ended their 28-year Stamford Bridge hoodoo as this guy Dele Alli bagged a brace for Spurs. Despite Chelsea scoring the opener through Morata on 30th minute, they found themselves level just before half time thanks to a wonder strike by Eriksen.

Dele Alli who had been recently dropped from the England line up had a point to prove some would say. He has faced a lot of critic this season but he made a few people eat their words and fortunately for Spurs this secured the three points.

His first goal came on the 62nd min and his second on the 66th minute which wrapped the game up for Spurs. Combined he has contributed to 61 goals and assists in his first 100 appearances in the Premier League (36 goals, 25 assists) which compared too many is pretty outstanding. Despite the stats he has been slated stating that this has been an under par season for the 21-year old.

It was a class act from Dele Alli against Chelsea over the weekend and I hope to see this form continue, I am a fan of his. I do feel he needs to leave Spurs personally in order to be a part of a side who can win major trophies.

I think we over hyped the youngster last year so it seems as if he is having a poor season when really he is just delivering at a decent rate in the game. He has scored less but has assisted more in a Spurs side were other players have stepped up their game. There are not many young players rivalling his statistics currently in the game so he does have the potential to go very far.
