Oh you thought it was over? Sincere apologies for no Matchweek 28 blog post, I know I know but here we go again. This is the second time we have crowned Son with this prestige award, I mean best player of the matchweek which Premier League player doesn't perform well to get this award.

Son scored twice this weekend to secure a 2-0 victory for Spurs over Huddersfield. With Spurs trying to secure a top four finish they'll need all the goals they can get especially if Harry Kane doesn't bring his shooting boots. Tottenham once again showed that they have not only a big squad but a squad full of attacking quality and players they can rely on in order to win games.
As expected Spurs dominated from the first whistle, it only took 27 minutes for them to get off the mark. Alli played Son through with a neat through ball leaving him 1v1, Son cooly took the ball around Lossl before finishing across goal.
Only Harry Kane has been involved with more goals than Son this season, Son has contributed to scoring 15 and assisting 9.
Son was denied a clear penalty shout in the second half but this didn't dishearten Spurs as on the 54th minute they got their second through Son putting the game beyond doubt as the visitors never really seemed like troubling the home side.
Son has been directly involved in 13 goals in his last 11 Premier League appearences at Wembley, scoring 9 goals and assisting four.
Personally I think Son adds more to the Spurs side then Dele Alli and I feel he shouldn't be benched the amount of times he has been this season. For me he would be in my starting 11 every week. Spurs are however getting the results needed to be recognised as a dominant force in the Premier League thanks to players like Son the only thing they are lacking is trophies.
We won't abandon you guys again we will be here from now until the end of the season with our player of the Matchweek we promise!!!
