Everton recorded their first win since December 18th thanks to a brace from Theo Walcott. This was Theo's first brace for the Toffees and his first in the Premier League since October 2016. He was majorly involved for Everton as they beat Leicester and it looks like all Theo needed was a consistent run of games.

On the 25th minute mark Walcott secured his first Everton goal after his £20 million move from Arsenal. Sigurdsson received the ball in a good area slid the ball across the box with conviction and there was Walcott to put Everton ahead. (full match highlights below)

Walcott was a constant threat working well with Coleman down the right hand side for Everton. His second came on the 39th minute, Rooney's cross was not dealt with well by the Leicester City defence. The ball fell to Walcott at the back post, he took his chance first time doubling his tally and the lead.

He was denied the match ball in the second half when his shot was cleared off the line but his third contribution in two games was enough to secure the three points for Everton. He brings energy to the Everton attack, he looks happy and more comfortable playing at his new club. Maybe there was too much pressure to perform at Arsenal.

I feel he will be needed by England for the World Cup as he brings something different and playing like this he adds attacking quality to any side. He hasn't hit the heights that we were all expecting him to when he first signed to Arsenal but I think this move to Everton we will see his full potential. His next match is against Arsenal on the weekend. Will he go back to the Emirates and cause an upset? We shall find out.
