Player of the weekend
#MW16MOM
Heung-Min Son
Age: 25
Height: 1.83m
Nationality: South Korean
Playing position: Midfielder / Forward
The most expensive Asian player in history was our player of the weekend inspiring Spurs to a 5-1 victory over Stoke. He has become the highest scoring Asian in the Premier League costing Spurs around £22 million.
Son consistently troubled Stoke's defence, he was direct always trying to create something to put his side ahead. This paid off with 21 minutes on the clock gone, his cross into the box was diverted into the goal by Shawcross giving Spurs the lead.

He didn't stop there, he scored the second for Spurs, created the most chances in the game with Kane missing the target on a few occasions. His final contribution came on the 74th minute when he punished Stoke on the counter attack, breaking forward and finding Eriksen who made it 5.
Spurs take on Manchester City next Saturday and I think Son would need to start in order for Spurs to disrupt Man City's rhythm. He's not always the first name on the starting line up but he is an attacking option that at present seems to be offering Spurs the most going forward.
