Paul Pogba marked his return to Manchester United's starting 11 with an outstanding performance. The Frenchman played like he hadn't been away helping united secure a convincing 4-1 victory over Newcastle.

His skill and trickery helped assist the equaliser which was headed in by Martial on the 37th min. He then scored the 3rd for united putting the game out of Newcastle's reach. He dominated the midfield making the most passes (46) in the opposition half and took part in the most duels (18).

Jose Mourinho was full of praise "He was a great influence on the game. With him we have much more creation. I am so happy" and Pogba thanked everyone who supported him after the game via twitter.

Manchester United have now won 7 games on the trot at Old Trafford this season extending their unbeaten run to 23 games at home (W13 D10). Paul Pogba is a player that Mourinho will need to keep fit if they're to push on and catch their Manchester rivals.
