Mere days after the release of the music video for the lead single “Man,” British grime rapper extraordinaire Skepta has dropped his new album Konnichiwa. The LP, his fourth official release, was launched via live-stream from Tokyo late last night, and is now available to stream and download.
Clocking in with a tight 12 tracks, the album is a master class in the maximalist production and conversational flow that Skepta has honed over his previous releases. It features guest spots from the likes of A$AP Nast, Wiley, BBK, and in one particularly lit track, none other than Pharrell Williams.
Listen to Konnichiwa in full below via Spotify and find out why Skepta is the Godfather of the Tracksuit Mafia. Afterwards, here’s everything you need to know about Boy Better Know.
French Montana also had a busy week this week, dropping the much-teased video for “Figure It Out” co-starring Kanye West and Nas.
