Olivier Giroud is not good enough to win us a title.
Theo Walcott (Happy Birthday mate!) is not good enough to win us a title.
If you think back to when Theo was scoring goals, was it just a phase? Can you really call this form? How many good games do you need to have before you can actually call it form?
Giroud is a difficult one, because he does score goals, but the question is can we rely on him to get us the goal that we need? Against Barca in the Champs league or against Chelsea to win us the game? Not against Hull in the championship.
Both of these players are good players don't get me wrong, but in a big game where they may only get half a chance, the both of them will disappoint.
I must add that they have been playing with one of the best creators in Europe (Ozil) and they are still struggling.
It's worth noting that when you have the most dolla' (cash) of any club in the world, finding a striker should be pretty easy (wouldn't you think?). You know, in a free market, with loads of cash, you have leverage. We spent most of the last 10 years being a victim to clubs with more money, now we have money, we make out that it’s actually not an advantage to be rich? (Uncanny!)
I would be be offering up large sums of money for two players this summer. John Stones and Lukaku. Those two are players who are woth the risk, they’re young and they’ll be the back bone of a team for years to come. Just go out and get them (no excuses). Prem ready, classy players and one is UNIT for a striker (And he speak a gazilion languages)
The question is...will Arsene do this? Let's not kid yourself, he won't do this because this will effectively make him accountable.
It's incredible how Wenger has spent 8 years selling us the future...you start to open your eyes.
Maybe he isn't the right man for the job!
It's crazy to think that Claudio Ranieri is about to show up Wenger...they are playing like Champions, just powering through their games, 1-0 to Foxes!
