Player of the matchweek

Joint top goalscorer at the moment (7 goals) Tammy Abraham netted a hat-trick this matchweek. He looks to have found his feet as the new Chelsea no.9 with Lampard backing him all the way.

Chelsea decapitated Wolves 5-2 with three of their youth academy products scoring. They have always had one of the larger academies but rarely gave their youth first team exposure. Since the transfer ban and Lampard's appointment the young English players are shining through and may help the blues get a top four finish.

Tammy took his goals really well almost scoring the perfect hat-trick (left foot, right foot, header) he got two with his right and scored a header. Tammy has scored two goals in three consecutive Premier League matches and is the third to do this behind Cristiano Ronaldo in 2006 and Dele Alli in 2017.

Tammy also scored an own goal which makes him the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick and an own goal in the same match. But fair play to him, he has done extremely well since his penalty miss against Liverpool in the super cup final.

Tammy has become the youngest Chelsea player to score a ha-trick, opening his account on the 34th minute and he completed his hat-trick scoring on 41st and 55th minute.

Chelsea are in the Champions League and I think they have the squad depth to get out of the group. Whether they have the quality to go all the way, only time will tell. They have a massive test in Liverpool as their next fixture, If Tammy can win this game for them he will be holding that no.9 jersey for the rest of the season.
