Tammy Abraham has already been under immense amount of criticism even though the season has only just stated. He missed a penalty for Chelsea in the Super Cup final and received racial abuse. He has shown an immense amount of mental strength to rise above this and perform for his club. This weekend he managed to bag a brace as Chelsea beat Norwich 3-2.

Lampard continues to start Abraham over World Cup winner Giroud showing a lot of belief in his young forward. I don't know how far Abraham can take the blues as their main striker but so far he has done OK for them up top.

Nonetheless he opened the scoring putting Chelsea in the lead just 3 minutes into the match. He took his chance really well. He then netted what was the winner in the 68th minute making the score 3-2 with again another well taken goal (match highlights below).

Tammy was happy with his performance securing man of the match and he took to twitter to express his emotion. Winning the match for Chelsea will do him a massive confidence boost but he does have some big boots to fill for Chelsea as the main striker.

Abraham scored two from two shots on target which were his first goals for Chelsea. These were his 61st and 62nd goals at club level in his 134th appearance and this was his 1st winning goal scored from outside the box!

I believe Tammy is a good player but for a club like Chelsea I don't think he can lead them to were they want to be. It is a big ask to make top four and compete in Champions League and other cup competitions as the main striker. I do wish him all the best though and hope he does prove a lot of the critics wrong this season.
