Well it was not going to be De Gea after that assist he gave to Chelsea on the weekend. Mo Salah scored two and assisted one to send Liverpool to the top of the Premier League. Putting a bit of pressure on Manchester City. City struggled against Burnley but did enough to get the three points in the end.
Salah bagged another brace in search of another season as the Premier Leagues top goalscorer. A lot of people have called him a one season wonder as he has not hit the heights of last season. He didn't make the team of the year but Mane his partner in crime did. I think Mane has been the better out of the two this season but Salah has been very impressive.
He scored his first goal at the end of the first half and his second in the 83rd minute. His assist set up Liverpool's first goal, which Keita scored in a matter of seconds from kick off. He is kicking into remarkable form towards the end of the season, Barcelona up next can he make an impact on a game of such magnitude??
Salah has been criticised for not scoring in the big games, we will see during their clash with Barcelona. Liverpool have some tough games coming up - but I do not think they will drop points. If they do not win the league I think it would be a massive fail as they were so far ahead at Christmas.
Nonetheless, there are only two games left of the season.. I know sad times.
