Double matchweek for Chelsea and a few other teams, Loftus-Cheek had a massive impact on both of Chelsea's results where they have take six points in the race for top four. He has scored 2 in 2 as he is trying to cement his position in the middle of the park for the blues - I think he is a similar player to Barkley which doesn't help his progression as a player.
Chelsea beat Cardiff controversially 2-1 and rolled Brighton over 3-0, Sarri needs to pull off a miraculous turnaround if he is to keep his job at the end of the season I believe. Chelsea sit in fifth position one point behind Spurs with six games to go.
Loftus-Cheek has both scored and assisted in a game for the first time ever in any competition - Some would say he is coming into his own. But with all the competition for places is Chelsea the best place for him.
He looked composed in the middle of the park and with Chelsea still in the Europa league he will get a lot of game time till the end of the season.
Above are highlights to both matches, Chelsea are looking to make a massive end to the season either winning the Europa League or finishing in a top four position. As much as I like Loftus-Cheek I don't think he will be the difference regardless.
The future looks bright for Ruben, I don't think Chelsea is the right place for him - not at the moment anyways. But i hope to see him start week in week out and being as effective as he has been for the blues this matchweek!
