Sergio Aguero

Playing position: Striker
Manchester City and Everton had two games this matchweek. Man City regained top spot after beating Everton 2-0 last night. Manchester City also saw off Arsenal on the weekend with Aguero netting a hat-trick making him our player of the matchweek!
Pep knows they cannot afford to drop anymore points if they're to win the title this season, and they have a few more tough games to play. They saw off Arsenal convincingly in my eyes and they have Chelsea this weekend. Nonetheless Aguero scored another hat-trick for City with many calling him the best striker the Premier League has ever seen.

Another quick start for City saw them 1-0 in the first minute of the first half. It was not that surprising as City look hungry and they look like a team that want to win the league. Arsenal are still struggling to field their best eleven and have key defensive players missing. Despite an Arsenal leveller, Man City went in the break 2-1 up thanks to Aguero.
His third and final goal of the game was somewhat controversial coming off his arm but it got the job done. He has now scored 40 goals in 63 games against the big-six opponents which is 19 more than any other player since he arrived at City. He also is one hat-trick away from Alan Shearer's record eleven in the Premier League.

The two quickest goals this season have been scored by Aguero and he has 22 goals, 5 assists in his last 15 home games. Remarkable stats from a special player who may win the league for City yet again.
