It's been crazy week in football, with Sterling speaking out against racism in football and Gary Neville touching on his encounters with Sterling in 2016. A lot needs to be done to stamp this out and how long will it take?
Not to take away from a great matchweek of football with Manchester City finally losing! Yes, I know I got it wrong I thought Liverpool would crumble first but I think United will beat them this week. But if Salah can replicate this performance I may be wrong again!
Bournemouth is not the easiest place to go to and win but Liverpool did this with ease. With just 25 minutes on the clock Salah had his first goal and had his second on the 48th. Bournemouth missed Callum Wilson and it showed as they didn't manage to convert any of their chances in front of the home crowd.
Eddie Howe was unimpressed with the first Liverpool goal as Salah was offside, he felt it kilt the game for his side. On the 77th minute when Salah completed his hat-trick as if they hadn't already, Bournemouth were deflated and conceded defeat. His third goal was taken superbly (match highlights below) and he looked to be back to his old self.
Salah is now the quickest player in a Liverpool shirt to score 40 goals for the reds, he has done it in only 52 games in the competition! Liverpool will need him in this red hot form if they are to push on and win the title.
