Matchweek number 3! So far only four teams have managed to maintain their 100% record, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Watford. Manchester United and Arsenal look as if they're going to battle for highest mid table finish and West Ham are showing signs of a club that have no hope at all.
I thought Seri for Fulham had a really good game as well as scoring an absolute peach of a goal (go check it out if you haven't seen it) So too did Mitrovic and Ryan Bertrand. However Lucas Moura was outstanding this matchweek.
Two shots, two goals and he made the Manchester United defence look as average as you can get. He was partnered up top with Harry Kane, providing more pace to the Spurs attack which looks to be in the absence of Son.
He scored Tottenham's second goal which was a quickfire double which in essence put the game out of reach for the wasteful United side. He got on the end of Erikson's cross with a first time effort which beat De Gea with ease. His second showed his quality. Beating Chris Smalling one on one with a burst of pace before beating De Gea for the second time in the match.
Since Aguero in 2015, Lucas is now the only away player to score two goals at Old Trafford. He looked hungry and he could be the difference for Spurs this season as they look to win a trophy since the last Viking was laid to rest.
I think he is good enough to play in the Brazil squad personally and I think he always has been. He has never been a slacker and now Spurs will get the best from him.
Congratulations Lucas!
