Tadic I thought was the closest to Wilf this week in the Premier League for top performers. As the relegation heat cranks up, I'm expecting to see a lot more players from these teams stepping up and performing at a different level to save their clubs from relegation.
This isn't the case for Zaha though, the guy has been unreal for Palace all season long, I don't think they win without him. He's involved in every single forward move for the Eagles and gets important goals for the club.
I don't think it was a massive surprise on the 17th minute when Zaha broke the deadlock for Palace, if it was to be anybody on the field for them it could only be him. Their second came in the form of an assist from Zaha setting up McArthur to make it 2-0 seven minutes before half time.
As it stands, Chris Armstrong is the only player to have more goals for Palace (23) then Wilf Zaha who is currently on 21 joint level with Andrew Johnson. I think there will be a chance of him leaving in the summer, will he set a new record before the end of the season?
As the match went on Zaha continued to cause Leicester problems with his skill and determination to keep all three points at Selhurst Park. He broke through the City defence and was brought down by Albrighton who was the last man which resulted in a red card for the visitors.
Within the last 10 minutes of the match Palace netted three times making the final score 5-0 (match highlights below). This was the first time ever they won two top flight games in the same season against the same opponent by a margin of three goals.
It was a scintillating performance which inspired Palace to back to back wins for the first time since April 2017. He has now scored four in his last four and assisted five Premier League games, which is more than any other Palace player.
I think the England team missed out on a gem with Zaha. I don't think Crystal Palace will be able to keep a hold of him this summer. He is attracting a lot of attention and I feel for his game to reach the next level, he'll need a bigger club.
